The historic 1940s cotton Telico Gin in Ennis, Texas was the site for the wedding of Charlotte Follis and Jason Davis the last weekend in August. The two met while working on a job in Clarksville, Tennessee; him as a pipe fitter foreman and her as quality control. Jason popped the question in April 2021 at Charlotte’s family home, where everyone had gathered for family get-together.
Sharing hugs and “many small kisses” are among their favorite ways to pass the time. They also collect toy Volkswagen automobiles, so naturally Charlotte surprised Jason with a refurbished VW van after the two repeated their wedding vows before family and friends. And Eye Wander Photo owner Aaron Hogan captured that precious moment – one of many from this couple’s magical day.
Speaking of family, Charlotte’s mom not only helped her daughter plan the wedding day but made the wedding cake. Another special part of the day incorporated unity sand in their wedding ceremony. As the evening came to a close, sparklers were lit to send Charlotte and Jason off in style.
The couple makes their home in Palmer, Texas, just outside Dallas-Ft. Worth.
